The Best Video Editing Software in 2021

3 min read

We all like to get our hands dirty from time to time and to make something with our bare hands. Sometimes, we actually use our hands and do physical labor, but most of the time, we end up doing things digitally, on a computer. That in itself is not a bad thing.

There are plenty of things to do on a computer, from learning to being entertained. Entertainment can come in many different ways: some people use Betfred Promo Code, others use their computer to code, watch movies or their favorite TV shows!

But some people love using software to create something new, something that the world has yet to see. Videography is amazing but captured footage also needs to be edited. Well, here are the best video editing programs which you can use in 2021.

DaVinci Resolve

Some consider Adobe Premiere Pro to be the best software, and they might be in the right. But, to say so would be to disregard Adobe’s poor optimization and their fondness of letting errors slip by, errors which end up crashing the entire program and sometimes, costing somebody their work when the autosave does not kick in.

This is why it is important to have competition and Resolve is a great video editing tool, one that can also be had for free. The free version has features lacking, but is still very powerful and usable for professionals, even. Though, professionals will purchase the full fledged version, because they can actually make use of it and earn money using it.

Adobe Premiere Pro

Adobe has been at the forefront of software for a while, particularly anything that deals with image manipulation and processing. Premiere Pro is a great application, a very powerful video editor that has tons of other features, most of which you have to pay extra to obtain. While this is normal in the world of professional software, paying for a broken piece of software is not. While one of the most powerful programs, Premiere Pro is known for its many bugs and hiccups. This is not what a premium application should be doing, no matter its potential.

Blender

Blender is interesting because it is an open source tool, meaning it is free for download. It is available on all major operating systems, which makes it the best choice for anybody on a budget. Blender is known for being a tool mainly used to design and create 2D and 3D animations and objects.

Today, however, you can use it for a plethora of things, one of which is video editing. Video editing is not its primary purpose, but you can edit and make videos with Blender.

Openshot

When you see the name open in a piece of software, you can safely assume that it is an open source application. Openshot is a free program which you can download and use over a plethora of systems. While not as powerful as Blender, it is still very good and should be considered as the go to application for those who want to master video editing in different applications. For some, Openshot may be easier and simpler to use, thus more effective.

Video editing software is not lacking, in terms of available programs nor features. These are the best programs to edit videos in. Some are free, some premium, but all of them are great.
