Provide on-command and periodic scan of inventory items creating purchase proposals (requisitions) based on inventory reorder policy. The reorder policy is defined for each inventory item or each inventory type.
Optionally maintain item's reorder level and reorder quantity depending on reorder policy.
Optionally maintain item's reorder minimum quantity and maximum quantity depending on reorder policy.
The following items will be implemented in future version of this module. They may be implemented in the base module or be added via an industry specific add on.

Order Point Rule. The system maintains a minimum quantity and reorder quantity. Anytime the on-hand quantity is at or below the minimum quantity the reorder quantity is proposed as a requisition. Note that the reorder quantity is a fixed amount regardless of the quantity on-hand.
Min-Max Rule. The system maintains a minimum quantity and a maximum quantity. When scanned any on-hand quantities that are below the minimum quantity will have purchase proposals generated. The proposed quantity will be the amount required to bring the on-hand quantity up to the maximum level.
